The patients undergoing catheterism and angiography should be wear Epron or shield for preventation of Floroscopy and angiography complication
noe admitted three hours before the cardiac catheterization and told her parents the Solids-subjects should be avoide until 8 hours before the procedure
and Clear liquids (water, apple juice) until 2 hours .IV started and small amount of blood were taken. .Then procedure was done under x-ray guidance .in the cath lab. She got angiography and fluoroscopy .even we know the fluoroscopy has a very low dose x-ray and it takes several minutes of fluoroscopy to equal the power of a regular chest x-ray. But our patient had found complication of floroscopy .When the child arrived in the recovery a,I monitored her and at this time she found vomiting.i gave her serum and NPO was written with more attention. I noticed her for the next few hours.at next hours she found very severe diarrhea and I managed her water and electrolyte .the all lab data was normal.
I managed her for next hours until the diarrhea were decreased then stopped and she showed to tolerate drinking fluids. After 2 dayes other parent of a 2 y/o child(that under gone catheterism only in same day) called me and told me:our child found sever diarrhea .i told for better management its better she come to hospial .the patient visited and after management the all lab data was normal.then we result the floroscopy and angiography can be induce the complication like diarrhea and so the patient should be wear Epron or shield clothes for preventation of These complication in catheterism study.
