Anomalous Origin of the Right Coronary Artery from the Pulmonary Trunk: Transthoracic and Subsequent Intra-operative Transesophageal Echocardiographic Finding

  • We describe an 11- years-old child with anomalous original of the right coronary artery (RCA) from the pulmonary artery. The diagnosis was esteblished by angiocardiography and the case was successfully reimplanted to aorta at surgery.Transthoracic and Subsequent Intra-operative Transesophageal Echocardiography were very usefull for delineating pre-oprative anatomic and hemodynamic appreance, evaluating immediate operation results and postoperative follow up.
